Abstract

Pengamanan perbatasan Indonesia-Timor Leste dapat dilakukan di tingkat desa dengan melibatkan masyarakat setempat dengan berkontribusi dalam pengamanan perbatasan dan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang upaya pengamanan perbatasan di Indonesia-Timor Leste dan meningkatkan peran masyarakat dalam pengamanan perbatasan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan pendekatan diskusi dan pemberian pemahaman dengan menggunakan classroom training. Peserta dalam kegiatan ini adalah masyarakat Desa Silawan, aparat keamanan dan tim dari Universidade da Paz Timor Leste. Hasil kegiatan adalah tercapainya pemahaman yang baik terkait pengamanan perbatasan dan terciptanya kerja sama yang baik antara masyarakat di kedua negara.

Hildigardia Maria Imaculata Nahak, Prodi Sosiologi FISIP Universitas Nusa Cendana

Hildigardis Nahak is a lecturer at the Department of Sociology, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Nusa Cendana University. She received her master's degree in sociology from Airlangga University, Bandung, in 2010. Her research interests include border studies, economic sociology, entrepreneurship, and tourism development.

Lenny Sofia Bire Manoe,

Lenny Sofia Bire Manoe is a permanent lecturer in the Department of Sociology, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Nusa Cendana University, Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara Province, Indonesia. She completed a Bachelor of Social Studies with a concentration in sociology of development at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Nusa Cendana University, in 2004. In 2011, she completed the Master of Sociology of Development at the Graduate Program of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Brawijaya Malang. In addition to teaching, she is an active researcher. She has published approximately 18 scientific papers in various national and international scientific journals so far. Furthermore, she has actively participated in numerous scientific meetings, including seminars, discussions, and workshops. The author has expertise in development sociology (rural and coastal). In order to gain expertise as a professional lecturer, the author actively pursued research in the relevant field. The author's research has received funding from internal universities, the Ministry of Higher Education and Technology, and the Ministry of Health. In addition to being a researcher, the author is also actively writing articles in the hope of making a positive contribution to the nation and this very beloved country.

Christine Erika Meka, Prodi Sosiologi FISIP Universitas Nusa Cendana

Christine Erika Meka is a permanent lecturer in the Sociology Study Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Nusa Cendana University, Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara Province, Indonesia. She completed a Bachelor of Social Studies at department of Sociology, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Nusa Cendana University, in 2007. In 2012, she completed her master degree of Sociology at the postgraduate Program in sociology, University of Gadjah Mada Jogjakarta. In addition to her role as a lecturer, She frequently participates in numerous research projects and engages in community service activities. The author has also produced ISBN-registered teaching materials. The author is also actively participating in various training sessions, such as scientific journal writing workshops and TOEFL courses, and attending seminars at both the local and national levels. She has also conducted various research and scientific articles in accordance with her expertise in urban sociology and economic sociology
