Abstract
Teachers play a role in supporting children's development, both physically, socially, and in terms of physical fitness, including children with intellectual disabilities. The Basketball Unified game program is one solution to support the development and improve positive values of their personality together, learning to understand each other, increasing self-confidence, gaining sincere friendship, cooperation, mutual respect, and non-disabled children can increase their empathy, provide services, and other positive values. The results of the preliminary study were distributed to MGMP SLB throughout Yogyakarta that teachers still really need learning methods to improve physical fitness along with measuring instruments for people with intellectual disabilities. The purpose of the PkM socialization at MGMP SLB throughout Yogyakarta is to improve the knowledge and skills of coaches or teachers in the unified sport program (basketball unified). The PkM method is divided into 3 stages, namely Preparation, Implementation and Evaluation. In the Preparation Stage, the Team coordinates with team members regarding the PkM implementation plan. The Team designs activities that will be displayed in the Basketball Unified Game Program Training. The implementation stage of the program includes, namely the delivery of the Unified Basketball Game Program Training flow, socialization with teachers and basketball coaches to junior high school students. PkM results: suitability of activities with teacher needs in relation to students 58.8%, PkM increases teacher motivation to develop by 58.8%, coordination of LPPM with the person in charge of the service location 64.7%, suitability of implementation time with teacher activities 64.7%, PkM encourages teacher independence/self-reliance by 61.8%, and the results of the service can be utilized by teachers and children with disabilities by 73.5%. Given the great benefits of PkM for teachers and students, MGMP recommends that activities continue to be held and collaborated with other activities such as competitions and festivals for children with disabilities more widely.
